My jet coated D&D header cracked. Any thoughts on the feasibility of welding this?

Thanx

depends on where it cracked.

Take it off, take to a welder and ask?

I welded my old race header after it cracked at the weld. It held fine. Well, Smoke welded it...=)

Not at the weld... no such luck. It cracked at the O2 sensor and continued around the pipe.

Clean it and welder her up! If it looks weak, weld in some support bans.

i had a crack in the header around the O2 sensor on my race headers. I was able to get it welded back up, but was told it was hard to do (his reason for the weld looking so sloppy).

Dunn's Welding of Southfield has done the honors (again). I wish these pipes were easier to install...
