Any of you fine peeps got pics of the Buell rearsets for an S1. I just picked up about 40-50 sets. I need to know if any parts are missing. If anyone could post some close-up pics, it would be greatly appreciated. |

I've figured out so far how to mount the left side and the shifter, you'll need bearings...But I can't for the life of me figure out how to mount the right side or the shifter linkage. |

I found a pic on the search, and the right side uses the same style clamp as the left. I'll send ya another clamp as soon as I get the chance. Does that seem right? |

Ian. I have the instructions, after a few hours of searching...No pics in in them though, but I have a complete part breakdown with part numbers of all the hardware...And the instructions on how to mount it, exactly as it came in the package. WHOS THE MAN |

thanks brinnutz for posting my pics. i need to figure out how to post pics. i am sure it is easier than i think. anyway... this would be the first debut of my bike! i bought these rear sets off ebay a few years back. brand new, still in the original package just like the previous post from brinnutz.i made the mistake of letting my horrible local hd/buell dealer install my rearsets. they could not figure out how to! they also told me this was custom work (even though this was made by buell and for my bike)and what ever they did not use they threw away! this was the last time my bike has been serviced by them. i did recover all my parts except one from the trash. after that has been said, notice the rearsets are missing hard ware. i am in the process of replacing due nothing was installed with loctite. 2nd pic, the bracket for the brake fluid resevoir is not stock. dealer installed because they could not figure how to mount. also, missing spacers between brake master cylinder and heel guard. (they were not recovered from trash)also missing, is a rectangular piece with a bolt that acts as a stop for the brake lever. if you look real close, you can see it mounts next to the buell emblem. gunut75, i am interested in purchasing a set from you. let me know what you want. i sure would like to have a back up set and replace some of my missing parts. i hope the pics helped you out. thanks again brinnutz. |

No prob bro, especially for a fellow Hoosier. Also, can you get a pic of the shifter linkage for me? I think it just uses the old stock boomerang style that attaches to shifter shaft but not sure. Sucks about your dumbarse dealer, they come with instructions that you can get from BCS.

the dealer is not that hard to figure out. i live on the southside of indianapolis (hint) i hate to bash. maybe i should be bashing the individual mechanic not the dealer. sure wish i could remember his name. although this was the second unhappy expierence in a row. i think what pissed me off the most was when i brought the bike back to point out these issuse and recover my parts. dealer told me to get some riding in for the season (they had it for several months for other maintance)and bring it back. they would be glad to take care of it. my thought was, i didnt write them a check and tell them wait a few months to cash it. i chaulked this up to lesson learned. (2x) i just got my bike bike back from bloomington hd/buell. i report very good service! i will continue to drive way out of my way to bring it professionals. brinnutz pic is on its way |

Aggressive does not even come close. From the install instructions.... This kit relocates brake and shifter controls approximately four inches rearward and two inches higher for a more aggressive and surprisingly comfortable sport riding position. |
