Does anyone else have paint bubbling and coming away from the tank, under where the seat meets the tank? I am 120 kg bloke and I thing that my weight has caused the seat to dig in. I have put a strip of leather in between but the damage is already done. I will eventually have to get the tank fixed. It is Carbon Black and I will required paint codes and a reputable plastic painter in Brisbane, Australia. Bugger!!!!!!! |

Another Ozzy, G'day mate, got an 02 myself. Bubbling paint is the bain of tuber tanks dosen't matter what you weigh. my tank has erroded a strip in the same spot I just covered it with some number plate decal stuff. I'm in the process of getting my skinny tank painted "again" as they didn't use the proper primer the first time, the paint just peeled off in sheets ,cost me 350$ too |

Somewhere on this board is the correct, factory approved method of painting tuber tanks. Do a search if you plan to have it repainted (I'm on my third paint job since I didn't heed above mentioned instructions). Kilroy |
