does anyone know if the mounting on the fork is the same for all the tubers?
in specific: a front caliper for an M2 would also fit an X1?

99 and up, I am positive will fit. The earlier PM front brakes for the 97/98 M2, I am not so sure.

I have the early pm brake caliper installed on some x1 forks, just need to put the pads in and bleed it, everything bolts up so far.

yes I also have the front PM caliper on my S1, but since the M2 has different forks than the S1-X1, so I wasn't sure if the mounting was the same...

I converted my m2 front end to the inverted so the mounting is the same

you mean what caliper I have now on the X1? the nissin 6 pistons stock...

The different calipers do have different size master cylinder bores though, so if you are swapping it would be advisable to swap master cylinders as well.

I should have specified by different calipers I mean the PM and the Nissin, not bike application.

I'm gonna mount on the X1 my old chromed XB master cylinder.
on my S1, doing the conversion from Nissin to PM, I didn't need to change the master cylinder. I guess the stock XB master cylinder would be enough for that caliper...
