Will an M2 seat and plastic go on a 97 s3 thunderbolt chassis? I am tired of my racing solo tail. thanks, george

Which fairing is that? A 97-98 M2 seat and tail should fit. The 99+ will not unless you get the 5 gallon tank. If you are tired of that tail and seat, how much do you want for it? |

nice bike - i like the mods you've done. did you fabricate the rear subframe? i'd like to see pics of the subframe if you have any. going to do some mods to my x1 and am still researching exactly i want accomplish. are you thinking of selling the fairing & tail? thanks |

The "subframe" is stock buell frame that was chopped at the rear. In this pic the seat is 2" above the frame rail. I just put handlebars on the bike and lowered the seat 2". Now I have to lower the footpegs. I would like to try and get a M2 seat and cut the tail to go over around the M2 seat. george |

The fairing and tail are airtech race bodywork. The tail came off of a Pro-thunder bike. george |

Now I am even more confused. There seems to be 2 different M2 seats. One is very narrow and one looks to be quite wider and longer? Which is which? thanks, george |

"The 99+ will not unless you get the 5 gallon tank." The fat 99-02 M2 tailsection and seat fits with the small tank on a 99-02 M2, it just looks funny. If any M2 tail section fits an S3, it should be the same case - it'll fit, but look a little funny. |

How did you fit an XB crank in tuber cases? Was it a direct swap? |

Motor was a Buell racing cast off. They were doing some testing with it. Acording to the harley tech former owner who built the bike, the crank was already in the cases. george |
