Ive always loved those white x1s with the blue frames. It makes me want to buy it and put the motor from my M2 in it. It would be like having a new bike for 1500 bucks. anyone live near there? |

heres one I have been looking at as a secondary bike http://atlanta.craigslist.org/mcy/698570096.html for 2700...and I think when I talked to him he said it has under 15k miles, so it should ride great. |

I hate seeing these Tubers bought and then chopped up. Its a shame. I wish I could afford to buy one of each model (S1,S2,S3,X1,M2) and keep them forever as they are. |

That S3 looks nice and has lots of extras....shock, wave rotor. It sure doesn't look like a 2000 though, the pipe and steel swingarm would indicate pre 1999. For the price, if it's legit either way it's a good deal. |

just driving my truck to pick it up would cost me over 500 bucks. If that deal was near me, I might have to do it. |

I wonder if you could shoehorn a WRONG engine into that? Like an old 1979 Sportster engine? Or a TL1000 engine from the junkyard? I know I know... the frame IS the engine in the old tubers. You would have to make some big "frame emulation support" to hold all the bits together. |

I wonder if you could shoehorn a WRONG engine into that? Now there's a question i think a fellow NEBO was asking today. He has a tired '00 Millenium |

That Craigslist one looks like a '98 S3 with the fairing removed. It does have the Works shock and wave rotor, inverted front shocks. It would be a carbureted model but isn't that also pre-Thunderstorm heads? |
