I read in a previous thread that there should be some shaft of the front mount bolt showing if the isolator is good. I don't see any shaft, but the mount looks good to me. I'd like to know how to determine if my front isolator is defunct or not. Thanks.

If you can peel the soft rubber away from either the plate or the tube, then it's bad.

One of my bad ones failed so that it wasn't visible until it was taken out from the bike but the vibes were completely sick!

(sorry I don't have any pictures for you right now though)
