ive put an 97 S-3 tank (carb model) to replace my efi fuel tank.... this puts the fuel petcock right on top of the old efi fuel filter that is mounted on the rear cylinder...i cant find a pic of how the fuel line is run on an old S-3 or M-2.. this would require me to snake a fuel line back and forth to go from the tank to the inlet of the filter... i can go straight from the tank to the carb with no problem... i assume the carb bikes ran a fuel filter.. anyone got a pic of how the line is routed?

They do. It's internal in the tank.
