Q: How is it disfigured?
A: It has a bar and shield on the side

Q: Do you know why a Buell can't stand up by itself?
A: Because it's two tired!

Pizza Dish: You can get it in either brushed aluminum with an upside down Pegasus, or a shinny chrome one ment for a SportsterPizza Dish

Say, speaking of tires:
Here is my Brigestone 010 with 7,000 miles7,000 BS-010
and here's my sons BS-010 with about 8,500 miles8,500 BS-010

Just a shot in the dark, here, but does your son have to wait for you a lot?

RT: Naw, we're pretty close to each other. He's probably faster but I haven't admited it yet.

What I ment to say about the tires is that I think they are showing pretty good tread wear. Both are mounted on Y2K M2's, the kid and I are about the same weight and ride together most of the time. At 7,000 miles I've got lots of miles left and at 8,500 miles his is pretty well gone but that's a lot of miles on sticky tires. We just bought two new tires, he will use another BS-010 and I'll be going with the slightly harder BS-020.

Jespo,

Very nice. The rims are a work of art.

I'm with Rick though, the third pic down in Vasistas' photo post of the Grey M2 with right side exhaust and double rear shocks is horrid. What was the owner thinking? That wins my pick for worst custom bike.

Blake,
If it's the same one I saw at Croix, I think it's built around a Sporster frame. He's added bits that look very Buell to it, but from memory it still had the long Sportster tube under the tank.

Peter, Blake, that's a Buell (frame & engine). I talked to the owner, he stripped a S3 and is rebuilding it into a retro 70-s racer. The thing looks awfull but it is far from finished. And it's for sale.

JohnnyB,

See,
The Bad Weather Bikers' BBS: Knowledge Vault: Exhaust - Headers, Muffler: Archive through April 08, 2002

cant get the link thingy to work.

I bought mine in Holland, saw and heard it on a dealer bike X1 and really liked the different look.
Had to modify the header connection and modify the Z-bracket because of bad fit. But it hangs nice and tight to the engine now. Rock solid.

I'll post some pics of my bike in weekend, it is still in progress so not worth looking at really.
Maybe this week i receive my new A/F and oil temp meter.
Then make new alum dash to install meters. I really should quit my job, so many things to do on the Buell.

Rgds, Fresh

I had a carbon fiber Vance and Hines go south on me and at that point I bought a 100% stainless exhaust. I have approx 10,000k on this muffler with out a problem. The Company is called Staintune and is out of Australia, you can check them out at http://www.staintune.com

Staintune? Excellent can! Over 20K on my older design. High dollar unit and at the time, it had to be purchased through an Authorized Triumph Dealer (not sure if it's still the case).

"Compact Bike" = XB9R

The YSR 50 is a pocket bike!

The Firebolt is tiny. I bet you could stuff one inside a Goldwings tailbag!!

I'm an XL kinda guy. Tiny just wouldn't cut it for me. I just can't call a bike "tiny" if I'm able to ride it comfortably. And after sitting on the Firebolt, I'm positive it would be very comfortable for me. Seems kinda insulting too. Who would want to have a "tiny" anything, other than a cell phone. :D I like "compact" much better. Maybe I'm just too rhetorically sensitive when it comes to the XB9R. :)
