Does left or right side matter on these? It looks like they can just be flipped to work on either side. I need to be sure before I drop cash on one. |

If you want the hinge to be symmetrical (i.e., the socket head cap screw pointing up), then you need a left and right. If you don't care about that, either will do for either side. This is NOT true of the Non-LS mirrors, due to the not strait arm that goes to the mirror. Al |

Hey Al, my lane split mirrors got loose over time, and after tightening, the mirrors would still move with the wind at the ball socket. I retightened and broke the right side bracket at the bottom screw, is that part available? --Sean |

Yea, I can get them. The key to them is to loosen the bottom one before tightening the top one. If you just crank on the top one without loosening the bottom, you break the clamp as you discovered. Al |
