I'd like to retro-fit some functional headlights on my '04 XB12S Buell.
I have a shop manual, but can't seem to find a simple, logical, color-coded electrical schematic?
The headlight plug has 4 wires on it: Black, which I assume is ground, White, Yellow and Orange with a white stripe.
Can anyone please give me the wire location/destinations?
Thank you very much in advance!

From 03 XB9S service manual, main harness page:

Black is ground.Traced back to common ground.

Yellow is low beam.Traced back to gray which appears to power many things that comes on with ignition switch.

White is high beam.Traced back to high beam lamp on inst. panel and LH controls.

Orange/White are labeled as position lamps(HDI only),if you trace this one, it appears to be powered when ign.switch is in park or on position. It goes to tail light and flasher as well. (Looks like this would be the starting point if you wanted to pursue parking lights or 4-way emergency flashers.)

Hope this helps.
