I went and messed around on my bike and now am not happy....

I dumped the bike while going 3mph and the bike's tip switch killed it. I picked up the bike and I switched the key between acc and on a few times. The bike started right up and ran fine. I rode it back to my buddies place and chilled for a bit. When I went to start it again it wouldn't start, just sat there turning over. I gave it gas and it started. A few days later I went on a 100-mile trip w/ no issues.

I just returned from being out of town for a week and went to start it today to ride. The same no starting thing happened. I took the seat off to disconnect the battery and noticed that a fuse box to the left of the battery under the seat (on my R) was loose. So I put it back into its harness and hooked the battery back up. Went to start it back up and realized that I didn't hear my fuel pump prime.

Can anyone diagnose my problem as well as tell me where the tip switch is at on my 03 XB9R? Any help would be more that appreciated.

the tip switch, or bank angle sensor is located behind the firing next to the ECM
on the clutch side IIRC.

I had some problems with the tip switch (so my dealer said)
My new bike (city-x 2006) started behaving bad after the running in period. Running at higher speeds and more sporty handling triggered the tip switch from time to time.
Taking sharp bumpy corners and flying over curbs or speed bumps caused the motor to hiccup, fall back and even stall. (motor management light flashing) The bike rode fine on some occasions and the next day
I was backfiring and stumbling along. The diagnostics at the dealer revealed about 6 errors with the ECM, all caused by a short circuit with the grounding. They first taught of a fault in the cabling and dismantled the bike but found nothing. After focusing at the tip switch (replacing I think), my bike rides as never before. All repairs were obviously free of charge because the Buell is still under warranty.

UPDATE: Was gone for a few days so finally got back home to tare down and inspect. After pulling the front plastic and seat/tail section apart I figured it was worth a try to start it. Of course it didn't start, but I noticed I didn't have a headlight when I turned the key to on. I get the taillight to turn on, the gages to light up and cycle, and I get the neutral and oil light to come on. I don't get a headlight, fuel pump doesn't prime and the middle right red idiot lite doesn't lite up. So I am thinking electrical be it fuse or wire issue. Will keep you posted

Thanks

Final Update:
I HATE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS!!!

So ends up after some tinkering it was a bad ignition relay and diode. Picked up the relay today at WildFire HD/buell and ordered the diode so another week then I will be able to ride
