Hello I just bought a 2006 xb12x with 72000 miles rebuilt at 60000 miles I love it but I have a few strange issues to start it I usually have to take off the seat and lift up on the wires attached to the ecm. My speedometer turns off and back on randomly and I found out the hard way my low fuel light doesn't work could all this be just one thing? |

I'll post more details when I get home, but you probably need to replace the ECM. The seat presses down on the connectors breaking the connection to the circuit board.
Do a search on here, you will find others with the same issue and how to relocate the ECM |

Ok so I got a new ecm and had the same issues my charging system isn't working but I think its the 77 connector now it won't even try to turn over or start no clicking no sounds at all the lights all come on the fuel pump primes but the button does nothing thought it could be the ground so I tracked down the right one cleaned it up and reattached now I don't get a check engine light but It still won't start the solonoid, good all of the fuses too, i swapped it for the aux one but moving the wires doesn't help anymore please help I really like this bike |
