Just picked up an s3 in august, best bile i have ever riden. Sold my gsxr 750 to my friend and intended on getting the infamous hyabusa, my goal is to make this bike as fast, or preferably faster than the hyabusa I was looking at, any one know of an affordable supercharger or nos kit for this bike, the prices for hd blowers and turbos are insane.

Just my $.02, from the perspective of age and S-3 ownership, is that it would be like racing dually pickup trucks: as long as you are going up against other trucks, and that's what floats your boat, go right ahead. But you can put it out of your head that you can somehow beat a 'Vette...

On the technical side, the lower end cannot handle much boost or NOS for long; there is NOTHING that you can do to change that. Save your money (and the S-3!) and just enjoy the ride...

A Busa is capable of going 185+ mph. Sorry but there is zero chance of you ever going that fast on an S3. Nitrous would maybe get you to 150 mph but your engine would last about a mile before it exploded into a million pieces while doing so.

The NRHS race team has went over 185 mph with a Buell at Bonneville. To do so cost well over $20,000 just in parts and the engine needed to be rebuilt after 20 miles
