Author Message   Jay916 Posted on Sunday, October 04, 2009 - 10:39 pm:        I have a 99 x1 with the Factory Race Stripe, the previous owner of the bike said that someone tried to break into his gas tank and mangled the gas cap. At the time i never gave it a thought to ask if he had still had it, because it wasnt until months later that I found out about the engraved gas caps on the lim. ed. bikes. The VIN when run through the dealers computer says that it is fact a Race Stripe bike but doesnt say what number it is. So if any one could help me find out what number it is it would be much appreciated.   Court Posted on Monday, October 05, 2009 - 10:29 am:        Dealer has that info.
