Some great logo ideas! Can anybody with Photoshop skills modify the Pegasus logo to include mountain outline from the Ht. Hood Community College logo?
The resemblance got me thinking... if the rear Pegasus wing was replaced with Mt. Hood outline, standing taller than Pegasus head, with other wing positioned in foreground. |

Thanks for giving the Mt. Hood thing a shot... Read with interest the Wiki on Past Blue Ribbon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pabst_Blue_Ribbon#Pabst_Blue_Ribbon Note associations with Wisconsin, PDX, OSU's Pi Beta Rho fraternity (does it still exist?), so gotta vote for twist on that firm's logo, with "Portland" and "Buell Riders" in script corresponding to the originals. Pabst logo has been hacked before:

What about a pair of pegasus heads in place of the ribbon on the bottom of the circle? Heads looking up and in at the circle, wings down and flared.. DAMM I wish I had photo shop. Should we stay away form black backgrounds? If this turns into a sticker or a patch I'd hate for it to be invisible |

OK I guess It's time to call a vote. I see the following as leaders. "Ribbon"
And "Tribal"
I'm not the final say by any means, If there are others on the "short list" by all means repost them. Once we narrow down the field we can make final suggestions and vote. Awesome work guys! |

Hey Billet - that's a PERFECT rendition of the Pabst theme! My vote: the blue ribbon. But how about this? - white t-shirt; - Billet's Pabst ribbon on the front over pocket position; - and flames Pegasus across back, maybe with "PBR" in blue and "Portland Buell Riders" in red, to match the Pabst theme. |

I'm pretty torn between the "Ribbon" logo and the "Tribal" logo. I love the detail and coloring of "Tribal" but I prefer the use of the actual Buell Pegasus in "Tribal. I also think the "Tribal" logo is a little more flexible as far as being able to use it as a black and white or with different colors. So, I guess on that note, I'm voting for "Tribal." I'm all for finding a way to use both though. |

I vote for the black and white tribal, but i do like your idea sweatmark about the front and back, little blue ribbon logo on front big tribal on back. One thing to consider when it comes to color is that the screenprinter will charge extra for every color, as well as front and back images. It doesnt matter to myself but the black and white is definitly the most cost effective, even a black and white ribbon logo on the front would be cool in my minds eye. |

Sounds like we all like them both. How about this: I'll send Blake the Pabst ribbon to mark our page on Badweb. I'll upload the Black and white tribal to the Buell owners page. We'll need photo quality artwork to make shirts hats etc. If someone wants to take the lead and get unit costs, lets see what kind of volume we can work up for the orders. I'll bet Roc could send an email and get a few orders in, or we could ask the dealerships for some sponsorship... |

Ok here are some costs on Black T-shirts and Hats Aron, Thanks for your interest in Instant Imprints. Here’s the quote that you requested. Screen set up fees = $25.00 per color / location, so if you wanted to do a one color print on one side of the shirt it would be $25.00. Black T-Shirts with printing, sizes Small – XL: Qty. 10 = $9.20 each Qty. 25 = $7.20 each Qty. 50 = $6.85 each Qty. 75 = $6.75 each Add $1.50 for size XXL, $2.50 for XXXL, etc. We can go all the way up to a 6XL Your art may require a 1 time charge of $50.00 to get it set up for screenprinting. Hats are a bit different. There’s a one time charge of $35.00 to get your logo set up for embroidery. Depending on the style, quality and quantity of hats you’re thinking about, you’re looking at $8.00 - $15.00 per hat. We do have a showroom, so if you want to swing by and check out our apparel I can get you a firmer price on these. I think that’s it, but please let me know if you have any questions. Instant Imprints is only 2 miles or so from Gators. Maybe this Saturday after a nice ride we could swing by to see what they have for hats to choose from. |
