Sam Soggycal Posted on Thursday, September 14, 2006 - 09:46 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll also be there. Dick Posted on Thursday, September 14, 2006 - 10:52 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yep me too. Samiam Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 12:11 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perhaps we should all figure out a way we can meet up. I'm going to be arriving with a bunch of Jap bikes, but I wouldn't mind leaving with a bunch of Buells, if you know what I mean... Sam Slamber777 Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 12:36 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where is this Oyster Run? l live in WA myself and just purched an 06 long. Samiam Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 01:02 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is in Anacortes, just north of Whidbey Island. Take I-5 North (or south, depending on where you are) and get off at the Hwy 20 exit, head west. About 20 miles later, you're in Anacortes. I hear there's an ungodly amount of bikes there that day. Sam Samiam Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 01:08 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slamber777, Just checked out your profile, in your case just head west on 20. I was actually in your neck of the woods about 2 weeks ago. I was with my group of Jap bikes from Oak Harbor. We made it to Winthrop and had dinner and headed back. Great ride, good twisties. We only got pulled over once . Hope to see you all there. Sam The_big_cat Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 04:28 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll be there to check things out for a while. Be cool to meet a few fellow bueller's 03' BLACK XB9S Sounds like a good time but I here the Boys will out in force coming in and out of town Starlifter Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 04:31 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We need to start a riders group Samiam Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 - 04:39 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Big Cat, I hear they kinda turn a blind eye to most that day, they're mostly out just to keep the peace from the drunken idiots. Nice one, going to be a fun day, providing it doesn't rain all day. I'll be there either way. Sam |

I live in Monroe and I have a pretty good sized mixed group of bikes riding with me so anyone who wants to catch up and ride with us can get a hold of me and I'll let you more details. We're trying to find a route off the normal path I'll let you guys know when we figure out all the details! |

"I hear they kinda turn a blind eye to most that day, they're mostly out just to keep the peace from the drunken idiots." A couple of years ago on the Oyster Run, I saw cops everywhere, going as far as measuring the height some guy's ape hangers. Everyone watch yourself! Keep your speed down and don't drink and ride! |

I'll be there. I'll be coming from Bonney Lake. I'm riding up with a couple friends. I'm the only Buell rider. I have a new Ulysses. Any one from around here going that would like to ride up together. We are only riding up for the day. PM me and I'll get in touch with you if you want. |

I'll be there. I'm riding from Vashon with a group of Harley riders (no buells on Vashon that I know of). We'll be heading up Hood canal to Port Townsend then to Anacortes via a ferry. |

Samiam, Thanks for the info. We do have some good twisties this way. Be careful. SR 20, WA Pass had a bit of snow fall. l usually ride north and have a few routes in BC that are cool. Have fun. Slamber777 |
