The next step is to get the new members together. I sent private messages to a few people on this site who live on the Island. I will give them a few days to get back to me. Once we have a round about number we can approach Bellmore. 1bad98s1, I think you might be the man for that that job. We currently have 4 Buell owners who will attend. They are: Rkc00, 1bad98s1, Buellgirl77, and me CityX74. Any more info I get I will post. Thanks again for all the help. They started their HOG Group last year, and he wants to have a combined BRAG/HOG group. Their HOG group currently has more than 400 members. He put me in touch with their service manager who in involved with running the HOG group. He will be calling BRAG this week and he will get back to me. When I hear anything, I will post. The ball is rolling......Any questions, or issues plz leave a post or message me. As of now its still in the hands of Bellmore. I spoke to Byron who referred me to Nick the Service Manager. Nick is the Secretary of the HOG Chapter at Bellmore. Byron wants Nick to do all the research. I gave Nick all the contact info at BRAG HQ. He also has my contact info for when he finds out what the next step for us is. Once I hear anything, I will be posting on this site. The last time I spoke to Nick was 3 weeks ago...... The only thing he told me was there is a good amount of work that goes along with the group, we will need a newsletter, officers of the group, and other things that will need to be worked out. If anyone has any contacts a Bellmore, that might be able to speed up the progress, feel free to make some noise. There will be no problem with the Fat Boy and The Buell. Thanks for doing this. I can't wait to get down there. We will be flying in on Thursday morning into Orlando. From there we will drive over to your house to get the bike and then up to Daytona. We are staying in Ormond Beach for two nights and then we are staying in the hotel towards Orlando on Saturday night. I will be dropping the Buell off at your house on Saturday night after the race and then heading over Nick's house for the BBQ. When do you want me to bring the trailer over to your house? I will need directions. Email me the address to the house in Florida so I can print out directions from Orlando. On the other hand I do have good news. My wife and I were in New Rochelle last week. We stopped a new dealer open since November. The dealer is located at exit 15 off 95 just outside the Bronx, 40 min at the most from Nassau. The web site www.nrhd.com We met the owner of the dealership, Jack. He doesen't just sell Buell, he rides them. He was so nice to my wife and I. He Stopped to talk and answer questions for some time with us. When was the last time anyone walked into Bellmore and was looked at much less has the owner talk to them? Sorry about that. They will be starting a BRAG Group on March 19. The day is starting with a ride at 10 AM. The first meeting of the BRAG and HOG Groups at 3 PM. I am not sure of where the ride will be going, but I am sure that my wife and I will be. This might be the closest BRAG to Long Island.
