Niceharleystuff Hi Guys... I hope to have our BRAG chapter up and running by this spring. I have our website up and running... www.hdofdanbury.com The HOG & BRAG chapter site is next. We are located in Danbury CT. Not too far from you guys. Maybe we can meet up sometime. Gomo Perhaps when everyone is all set up and ready, we can have all 4 clubs meet in Danbury, CT. It is more or less the center point from all of our locations (about 2hrs from NJ & MA and 1 1/2 Hudson Valley). There are some great roads north of Danbury (towards Sharon, Rte 4 towards Torrington, etc). Perhaps the folks at the future Danbury BRAG would be willing to be hosts for a day event. Just an Thought Niceharleystuff Sounds good to me... I would be HAPPY to host an event for everyone here in Danbury!!! We do have some GREAT roads in the area for riding. I mentioned it to my boss and he said he would be happy to do it. Maybe we can go all out and have a big Buell Day. I have been looking for an excuse to host a big Buell Day anyway. Quite a few of the guys who work here are Buell owners. We have a lot of customers who are Buell Riders that would be interested too. We have an amazing Dyno room. We could do a few dynos on bikes with and without race kits so you guys can see the difference. We have bikes for Test rides if anyone wants to try out any of the 2005's. I could get in touch with Harley to see if they want to get involved. Maybe send out a cool guest speaker or two. Then we could get everyone together and go for a nice long ride through CT. Rt. 7 is always nice. I'll pass the word on around here too see if anyone has any ideas. Let me know if you would be interested and if you have any ideas. Crusty I like the idea of meeting in Danbury, as well. Gomo A dealer event would be cool, as long as we figure about at least 2hrs for a quick ride as a group. Perhaps we could make this an Unofficial Northeast BRAG run. We should get in touch with the other BRAG clubs within the radius of travel (I believe there is 1 more in CT and perhaps 2 in NJ) and see how this pans out. Just going to toss out dates that may work for Jeff for starters (these are Saturday dates): May 14, June 18, July 16, Just a Thought Court >>>We do have some GREAT roads in the area for riding. That is an accurate statement. Vickie and I, along with Gary Cravillion, were at the last official Buell event in Danbury. There are great roads in the area and the dinner was an absolute hoot with tons of story telling. | ||

Jeff, Let me know if you need any help. I live about 50 mins. from Danbury (near Poughkeepsie). Perhaps if we get this all together by the end of March, we can make up a flyer and bring them to P.O.T. in CT. As well as contact other BRAG's in the area. | ||

Hello, Sorry to keep everyone waiting on a date. We are currently scheduling most of the events for the dealership for the coming year. I hope to have a date for everyone soon. Thanks for keeping everyone up to date Gomo. Johnny - We do have the free Buell hats for the current Buell promotion. Also, we have a new Motorclothes manager. I will be sure to pass on your request for more Buell merchandise. If there is ever anything in particular that you may want, the girls would be happy to order anything for you. | ||

Hello, I have more details about the event I would like to share with you all. On the day of the event / ride we will be giving away a coupon for a FREE baseline Dyno run to all BRAG members. HD / Buell of Danbury is home of the best Dyno room on the East Coast. We have a Dyno Jet 250I. You can watch the Dyno run through the window in our service department and see the results on the plasma TV above the window. We will be giving away a $50 off coupon good for a pair of tires and installation to all Buell riders. All makes and models of sportbikes will be welcome so pass on the word to any friends that may want to join you on the ride. There will be Buells with and without race kits available for demo rides. We will also have a free BBQ. I have made arrangements to have Rod Pink available to discuss beginner and advanced riding skills and techniques. Rod is a long term Buell rider and 20 year racing veteran on the Grand National and Flat Track. Rod is also going to put together the ride route. He suggested a route with a few more twisty turns than Rt 7. Possible destinations include West Point or Bear Mountain. Ride time of approx. 2 to 4 hrs. I am still working on a date. I am thinking sometime in June. If you have any suggestions on a date, event details, or ride details please feel free to contact me. I welcome all of your suggestions.
