I was just contacted with a great job opportunity. Most of my plans for the summer revolved around being unemployed. I have a lot more to find out and I may be able to do the ride still. Heck I might not get the job even, though there aren't that many students at UW-Milwaukee who are studying computer science and Japanese, so odds are they'll want me.
Damn, if only it wasn't such a great opportunity. The two things I love together in one job. |

Hey hey hey, caught the wife in a good mood and let it slip that I'd been invited to go riding in Newfieland in August when she's working & I'm not, and could her sister look after the nipper?
No ballistics and not even any reasons why not!!

If I had a second scoot Innes - errrrrr I mean Grumpy your on it. Problem is no one here on the island rents them either. Closest to rent a bike would be Dartmouth, NS at the Harley Davidson Retailer (Possibly) and if not then Ontario but thats gonna be one hell of a bill for a bike rental and they may not let it go out of Province.
You could always buy a Blast, leave it at my place and come over for a couple weeks every year. Or I could find you a cheaper Jap bike in the spring for what a Harley rental would cost and then sell it again when your done.
I have a friend here that goes to Europe for a month each year and he bought a mid 80s BMW bike that he leaves in France. He rides this while he is there and then leaves it at his buddy's place.
Now by the time Summer arrives here I may have another Scoot!!!!!! |

Thanks for that Newfie, I think the Buy an old nail and leave it with you to sell or store is probly going to be the best option, I don't know what the price of bikes is like over there, can I shop online for used bikes there? the cheapest rental I've found so far is around $1000 not including mileage & gas; We'll fix something up nearer the time.
