MTB - are you planning to head to the Iron Horse Wed before MBVI? Carlos is getting another set of bags for the Uly from Nutsosane. He's also planning to COMPLETE his Dragon Run before MBVI this year. I've already told him that I'm not going back to TN to get him. He'll have to find a ride to Suches! |

That is the current plan, makes for real nice weekend. Would be great to have company. I do plan on meeting Brad(Squids$@$##& ) at Smokey Mountain HD to ride to Suches. I don't know how many people will be meeting there, have heard some talk about them doing a special morning thing for the Buellers heading down. |

The ad says great starter bike. That is funny. He does not know what he has and someone should grab this bike at that price. It is a 95 not 96. When I put my 95 pearl white up for sale it will be between 5 and 6K just to give you an idea.
Any C3ers close to there that is going to check it out. |

I saw a black xb9r this morning as I was pulling into my work at subaru on wake forest rd in raleigh this morning. Never seen this one before. Wonder if they are a member here?

Wow a lot has been going on!!
First and foremost- Congratulations to Mike and Sarah. Beautiful!
Carlos- divvy up how much did we win?
The day after our Michael's ride I have been sick! In fact I didn't even get out of bed Sunday or Monday following it. Made it up to UNC and they hooked me up with some anti biotics! YEA
Brankin- YES YES YES, and how much are one of those fly screens?
My two Pits attacked my old doby Monday morning, 1 am. The old girl held her own until I could get there and luanch the smaller pit over the fence, and snatch the other up by his neck. All said and done, $1,000 worth of surgery and 12 drain tubes later, she is feeling pretty spry now. It all started over me tripping over the motorcycle trailer. Go figure!

U4euh - Well we put up $5 and won $6. So we decided to let it ride and nadda on the second round. I thought we won $30 but we did not play the multiple. Oh well.

So anyone going to Ray Price Saturday for the Polar Bear Run and Chili Cookoff? Carlos and I have a sitter and I think he might need to take me to Raleigh!
On a sad note, Carlos and I are having to bow out of MBVI. Circumstances are such that MBVI is just out of reach for us right now. All those going, you have mail. |

Kristi, looks like I'll not be able to make it to Suches either. The S10 took a dump, and also needs new tires. So does the bike. I shouldn't complain. Things could be a helluva lot worse. Jim, hopefully Nakita will heal up quick. |

We will not make it to Ray Price tomorrow, errrr, later today. Riding the bike home from Webe's I joined the club. The belt broke on the way home. The Uly has always been dependable and a broken belt was not going to change that. The belt broke two blocks from the house and coasted to within a block of the house. I walked the bike a couple of houses down the road, then rode downhill to the barn. Anyway, tomorrow I will be putting the new belt on the bike. |

Good thing you were close. Last time I broke one, I was able to coast into the garage with no pushing. Its what I get for trying to pop a wheelie for some kids in the parking lot. |

Carlos, you lucked out. I had a break on the way back from Mabry Mill a few years back. But, Stokesdale is only 30 minutes away from our house. Pat brought me the old spare belt with one extra tool I needed to do a roadside change. One of the famous 03 upgraded belts with around 600 miles on it snapped. Glenn's broke with 400 miles? I had the 04 version on in just a few weeks, and always have my spare and tools in the bag.
Talked to Rubberdown last night. He's finally able to put pressure on the chest. Even a few push-ups. I expect he will back on his bike very soon. |

The date on the top represents the Mecklenburg Decleration of Independance.
The lower date represents the Halifax Resolves.

That is I-40 at the TN NC boarder. We spent Sat night in downtown Nashville, along with a TON of angry Tennessee football fans.

I moved down from Dubuque, IA, which was a great town to call home for 8 years. I'll miss my little ranch and all of the people there, but I will NOT miss the weather. Fortunately, I will be back quite often for work.
Heather was getting tired of me leaning into the corners going around I-40 out there. She had to remind me a few times that I was in a Honda Civic, not a Buell. |
