I have to put in for a day off, but I'll be going. If Sat's the day, who's riding? Or am I the only one with heated clothes?

Heated Clothes !! Geez.. Next thing you know.. you'll be 'Farkeling' out the S1 .. Come on Joe, don't tell me your a closet Beemer guy.. It'll be cool in January that's probably a given (damn global warming).. And with Robin's ankle.. I don't see us doing much riding.. Train maybe.. Bike.. Doubtful.. |

Tease all you want, but which one of us is still out riding every day? LOL. Besides, if I don't ride, I guarantee I'll forget my key...and then I don't get a free patch. |

Yeah.. but I don't have money for heated gear.. I'm sitting on it all to pay for a new bike.. Maybe next year, I'll be able to get some 'lectric underoos... But until then, I'm still doin' it the hard way.. ride till you can't feel the controls.. stop.. fondle hot engine until warm(er) then ride some more.. |

If you do the ride on Sunday I can probably make it. I sprung for heated gear this year, as I had planned to ride to Canada for Thanksgiving, but it snowed and I drove. Heated gear is much easier than having to strip down when I get to work too...just peel the outer layers (and don't need many layers either). Pricey, but I ride all year. |

See? Marlin understands! FXRG nylon outer, heated inner, throw in a fleece if its under 35. No Michelin Man-sized kit, good range of motion...great stuff. And Blu - I rationalized the purchase and so far it's working. Figuring fuel prices and consumption, I'm saving nearly $2k in gas every 12k miles compared to my car. Of course, we know where I work and I'm lucky enough not to have to wear a suit.... |

Yeah Rat.. I'm stuck in the suit and tie thing.. With the money I'm spending this year.. I'm gonna have to hold off on heated anything until.. well.. I can afford it.. The wife is thinking that I've pretty much blown the 'motorcycle & stuff' budget for '08 already.. and I still haven't figured in a few things that I wanna do next year (two wheel wise).. Gimmie a call sometime (you know when) and when I come out to see ya, I'll tell ya about the 'Rest' of the outlay I've been making towards motorcycling. You're gonna love it! (speaking of that.. Uh.. Service Manual?) Speaking of other things.. Buell only looks like it's gonna be a really good year! HOMECOMING - 25th !! (I hear there's a track day in there..) CABO (now that we have a name, we need to plan something or other..) standby for details early next year..hopefully.. Track Daze.. Gonna try and make a few again, including.. Inside Pass - hopefully the dates will be published soon and we can start planning a 'group' response.. Something else.. I'll talk about later.. Racing - oh wait, that's a lot of photo work for me.. but yeah, I love doin' it.. hopefully I'll get some really nice Buell shots.. |

I know.... I know, its the BMW bus. I tried to suggest this to Old Glory and then sent this flyer to them to see if all of us could have a party down there on a bus. I might go on this one. I would love to ride but it depends on the weather. Ice or no Ice then how much salt is on the road! K |

IMC in DC falls on my Guard weekend this year. I may try to go early Friday then drive the cage up to NY that night for Saturday/Sunday/Monday drill. Anybody going riding Friday? Unless its snowing, I will probably ride (with heated gear from Ratbuell's place) |

Not sure what time I'm getting there.. I should be heading down sometime in the morning.. I hope to hit it around the time it opens.. I guess I could head right to Buell as well, but I suppose we could try and set up a meeting time, like we did last year.. So.. to give folks time to get there.. what's a good time? 11? 12? Miller?(oops) Anyone? See you there! |

Saturday's weather is shaping up to be pretty nice...any of you warm weather riders considering making the trip? LOL! Right now they're saying near 50 and partly cloudy / less than 10% chance of precip for Frederick, I figure probably 3-5 degrees warmer down in the "big city". |
