Well like most I dislike the look of the stock mirrors. From the front the bike looks like a bug w/ them, just not what I would say is cool. So I took them off and love the look. I think it makes the bike look tough as nails. Problem is that w/o the mirrors it kind of stinks to change lanes. So after some poking around this is what I ended up with. Believe it or not the view is pretty kick butt.
Sorry for the poor pics... total cost = 29 bucks. (Message edited by caféelite on May 31, 2007) |

yep i have been trying to decide aBout taking mine off also. CRG makes a mirror call a blindspot mirror that is real short so once it comes in. mine are coming off. Looks great....and $29....that rocks |

Like I said before the view is extremely nice. Considering the seating position and my size I get a great view between my arm and waist. If I really want a wider view all I have to do is kick my elbow out a bit. Jaimec.. I looked at bar end mirrors but I have the hand gaurds which means I would have to remove them or order the piece from American Sport Bike. I am also not a huge fan of how they look either when they are on the bike. I just think they make the handle bar look wide. I wont a very compact looking bike.
