Is there anything that can be done to fix or fill in the part of the tank that goes under the puck? my wife layed hers down resulting in a dent under the puck. A new puck will not fit over the dent.

Pucks sure work well somtimes..

My friend bought frame covers from Trojan..
He had pucks on his bike as well when his bike went down..

I think a few people have done the bondo thing and its worked really well..

I used bondo to fill in a friends dented frame then painted it with the frame paint that Buell sells. And then of course put the pucks on it. It's been two years and no problems.

I have to agree with Cereal, bondo it, paint it, cover it!

You might check with the local dent repair place. You'd be surprised what dents they can pull out. It doesn't need to be perfect even. Just out enough so that you can slap a puck on it.

I just fixed mine. Bondo, sand smooth, painted with Buell paint, and installed frame pucks.
