Ok, here she is. After several months of working with artists, collaborating on a paint scheme, and untold thousands of dollars spent on custom paintwork, here is my bike! I know, she's a looker! right? All you guys are gonna start copying my paintjob now, I just know it. Seriously, I got to about here on the paint and my wife started complaining about paint fumes. So I just put it back together so I can ride it. Paint will have to wait 'till this summer when I can properly vent the fumes out of the garage.

Tim,
It was good to see you again in the shop over the weekend. I cant wait to see the graphics and paint up on that fairing, Nice job. I washed the bike today!, ok, I really just parked it outside in the rain and most of the mud worked its way loose. Now I have to go mud hunting again... We will be having Hooters Bike wash once a month starting in April. I plan on giving them girls a part time job with my dirty CityX : D
(Hatchet, your bike looks good too, and is all ready to ride with the new set of shoes.)

This week I gotta take my wife out of town for some 10th anniversary or something. So I will be gone, but hopefully I can get up that way the weekend of the 31st/1st. Maybe the rain will stop by then! Wouldn't that be cool! Then you guys can show me some cool roads out there. Although my wife will be on her Dyna LowRider, so we may have to wait for her. How does that saying go? "Never leave your wingman!"

Sounds like fun, as long as the weather works out. Last time I took the Buell out in the rain, it ended up on a trailer for the ride home, and cost me a few hundred for some new turn signals. . . and handlebars. . . and a mirror. . .and a headache. . .and man, these things have a lot of torque! That tire breaks loose right away! Top secret tip. . .when crashing, make sure to do it right in front of your boss. . .the first day you have your new bike! Now that's super cool!

Right! That's EXACTLY what full face helmets are for! LOL! Yea, it was nice when I went to work, then it sprinkled during the day. And it stopped when I left, but everything was wet. She jumped out from under me as I turned out of the parking lot. Oops! As for color, if you saw the pick of my Harley on this post. . .http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/260441.html?1174325782. . .I'm gonna do the same thing. Black with two-tone blue flames and a neon green pin stripe. The trick will be to get the flames to flow as smooth as I can over the Buell bodywork. I did a little photoshopping to see how it would look. Looked pretty good, just gotta get all the base laid out, and then play around.

Just bought new rain suit and foot gaiters, the best thing about rain on the road is that it makes MUD up in the hills : D Big anniversary party on the 31, band BBq, would be nice to seem some Buells to show the Harley guys up.

you will need some more dirt friendly tires. I have the dunlops on the rear now, the scorps up front, and will be going to full MT nobbies for dual sport riding this summer. There is another crazy CityX out there, Ulendo is doing some aggressive dirt rides on his too.

Hey Tim and Brian,
Providing I don't have to work overtime on Saturday the 31st and we have favorable weather, I'd be interested in meeting up with you guys and taking a trip out to Legend HD. I haven't had a chance to get out to Silverdale to see the dealership or meet Cityslicker in person.
Let's keep in touch over the next week and see if we can't work something out. Maybe we'll get some other local Buellers to chime in here and agree to ride along.

Food starts at noon ish, and the Harley guys come to eat, so you know it will go fast (it always does) Also thinking about a Buells run at midnite ride (In celebration of April fools) Meet at the shop at midnite and ride in the dark , a big wolf pack that tears up the dark twisted corners. : D

In russian there is a saying about it, On coshoel syma... (He has stepped out of his mind!) Ran Devils run last nite, 6 miles of 66 turns on dirt, my pass-clock times are coming down as the mud dries to packed dirt.

You should hear some of the HOggies talk about that article. He does "what ?" with that bike. Apparently, not everyone knew that I was riding her on the back fire roads. I know I wont have to "wave" to them out there. I have the road mostly to myself. I hope you can make the party, kicks off at noon. Will last as long as the food and booze is still in effect, like all good parties.
