Ft. Lauderdale Harley-Davidson?
They aren't even a Buell dealer, OK, I give up, what's the punch line?

That's the funniest thing i've read here this year

Wow AL, good way to turn a dealership away from the Buell brand.

My mistake, they weren't listed as a Buell dealership last time I looked, only Pompano.
But having stopped in Ft. Lauderdale H-D during the New Year holiday to see an employee, I happend to see a new TT. A coupe of lads wearing Bruce Rossmeyer's H-D of Ft. Lauderdale shirts saw me looking at it and posed a question as to why I might be interested in that instead of a......
Bruce Rossmeyer dealerships in general are good dealerships to turn customers away from the Buell brand.
But that said, if you live in South Florida and want to see and talk Buell, I recommend you to go to Bruce Rossmeyer's H-D of Sunrise and ask for Fred Nagher.
Fred is a long time motorcyclist and a Buell enthusiast. Fred has OWNED a XB since they were introduced and knows the product line. He just purchased a new XB12S over the Holidays.
Let Fred hook you up, it'll be your best Buell experience.
He isn't just a salesman, he's an owner too.

So let me get this straight.... Al, you first say that they are not Buell dealers and mock them, then you state you went in over the New Year's holiday and saw a new TT. If you went in and saw the TT you would clearly know they were a Buell dealer, so first why the knock down and then why would you post negative comments about their dealership only to talk up another? I dont believe that's what this forum is about, and I hope viking would still like to become a Sponsor after those un-needed comments.

Bruce Rossmeyer displays whatever he wants at any of his dealerships, he had Buells displayed there when only Pompano was the official Buell dealership, so seeing a Buell there isn't new.
Both dealerships are Bruce Rossmeyer shops and his dealerships, like most aren't known to be very Buell friendly.
I have worked with Fred and have been lucky enough to have him as a friend as well. He is passionate about the Buell product and tried in the past to get a Rossmeyer sponsorship as I have. We both failed.
I admitted I was wrong about Ft. Lauderdale being a Buell dealership, but I'm NOT wrong about the way they do business.
I truely hope Vikingdave has success in getting them to sponsor the absolute best Buell site, but if I won the Florida lottery tonight I'd bet it all that they don't.

Big Al, I worked with Fred Nagher at the Ft. Lauderdale store and still work with him only he's at the new store in Sunrise. I just spent 4 days with him in Las Vegas at the Buell 'Back to the Track' sponsored by the factory. Fred is a great guy and a friend of mine. He isn't the only Buell Salesperson enthusiast in South Florida. Sounds like you have a small hardon(ooops I ment to say personal problem)for Rossmeyers FT. Lauderdale store. I don't appreciate the disrespect, do I know you?

"Big Al with a small hardon" HEY, have you been lookin'?
Well I certainly don't appreciate the disrespect, or the small penis stories either. I don't mind ya lookin' just don't blab about it all over the web, I have some pride left.

just kiddingI don't think you know me yet.

I was going to mention earlier that you must have big balls to ask THAT bunch to open their wallet to support the Buell cause, but I'm glad I didn't because you would think I have been lookin' too, I don't, and even if I did I wouldn't tell everyone on this site.

I've held my tongue about as long as I can stand it.....

.....there appears to be far too many individuals on BWB that take great pride in bashing others. It's uncalled for and down right rude.

I enjoy this forum greatly, but am saddened when I see comments similar to those listed in this thread.

Please, please, please, save those comments for face-to-face interaction. I'm certain that won't happen as frequently as the impersonal, cowardly rants typed here.

Lighten up please.
I made a mistake based on prior incidents.
I apologized.
I wished him luck on being a sponsor.
We have a mutual friend.
But until Vikingdave buys out Bruce Rossmeyer and becomes the owner of H-D of Ft Lauderdale, I didn't disrespect him.
I saw the humor in Vikingdave's last post and feel confident that he'll see the humor in mine as well.
It is meant as fun, not an attack, I never post what I wouldn't say in person, face to face.
Almost can't wait til' Fred, Vikingdave, and I have a couple of beers and a few yuks too
I'm done.
THE END

Geez guys, reread Al's last post to the Viking. It's clear even to this thick-headed weenie that Al was totally in jest and very welcome self-deprecating good humor.

Thanks Al, and thanks Dave too! Fort Lauderdale has confirmed that they are coming on board as a BadWeB sponsor and we are honored to have them. : )
