Hey, I had read some negatives about the TT here. And now this article comes out:
http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_Page.aspx?Ar ticleID=4282&Page=1
I think this is the first time the media gets a Buell product that some of us don't! This guy loved the bike! Now I'm sure this will bring an onslaught from TT haters, but it seems like folks are starting to appreciate the fun and not focus on the technical specifications. I love my Citycross for the same reasons this guy talks about, and now I may trade it in on a TT.

Nice write up. It's good to see Buell getting the recognition they deserve. I bet Motorcyclist slams it.

Yeah. .. but that article's based on facts. . . that's totally contrary to the way we do things.

apparently you missed the memo, the TT had been judged and summarily dismissed within 17 minutes of release.

Sure. . I made the mistake of riding it, becoming big-time impressed and trying to form an opinion about a motorcycle based on my own personal riding impressions. . . but that seems . . . . well . . so damned empirical. . . I mean THINKING for yourself. Can't we just subscribe to the herd mentality? It's so comfy.

Don't sell the CityX, I may have a buyer.

: )

Facts don't sell motorcycles'.When was the last time you contributed to Buells' bottom line and bought one. This supposed "Buell hater" bought/added the second one to the stable in '05...After acquiring a Ducati too.A truly great machine the 12r.

Now go buy a new "Super TT"...You already KNOW you want one

I remember the first Uly rumor I heard: "Buell is going to build a dual sport." My first thought was "what a stupid idea." But I wasn't worried. It was such a stupid idea I knew they would never do it.

They did it. I loved it. I bought one and rode it 16,000 miles before it's first birthday.

I remember when the CityX was introduced. It was not well recieved on Badweb. I remember the handguards in particular being the subject or ridicule. Then winter came and we discovered that they kept your hands warm. I've yet to hear of a CityX owner who didn't love their bike.

The XB was introduced before my time, but I understand it wasn't well recieved either.

The Blast was way before my time, and it still isn't well recieved. People who own them tend to love them though. I love mine. I rode it to work in the ice this morning.

I think the people at Buell know more about motorcycles than many of us. They certainly know more about motorcycles than me. The "correct" way to sell a product is for the marketing people to survey potential owners and then to make what they asked for. If Buell did it that way they would sell more bikes. I'm so glad they don't.
