I so tired of everyone staring at me while I ride and stopping me to ask me questions and tell me how nice it is and how much they like it and this damn sh*t eating grin I always have on my face, Its freaking ridiculous!!! I can only manage a few hour ride cause my damn cheeks hurt so darn much I can't stand it!! I mean really this is just crazy.

haha, had to mess with everyone a little bit. I really love my bike. I just recently graduated from college and moved south which allows me to put a lot more saddle in and I could not be happier. I loved the bike before hand and now its borderline criminal how happy it makes me. Honestly I still giggle like a school girl every time I whack the throttle while I am under and overpass.

ok I am all better now, just had to vent

I really am tired of being late for appointments because I can't resist the urge to talk forever to the people that stop me.

Paul - Heck yea, any time you want to. I dont have any plans for this weekend if that works for you. I cant be to hard on it seeing it needs a rear tire again, I guess thats part of being so much fun to ride.

PM me if you want

Sure, Sure. I'm finally going to ride to NJ and now you are not there......

Iridea..., be careful, I've heard Will giggle like a school girl

As for the rear tire, try the Conti Road Attack, getting terrific mileage from mine so far, around 3200 miles and I just wore thru the logo on the tread : ) (only if you don't mind mixing tire brands)

I have to work starting tomorrow through the weekend until Tuesday (it's a long story).

I'll catch up with you toward the end of the month though. Have you ridden with the Lakeland BRAG club?

I've got a new set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's ready to go on my bike. I'll let you know how they are.

Dan, I hahaha very funny.
I know it really stinks that I cant be there for the open house. For the first time you would be in my neck of the woods and I go and do a silly thing am move to florida.
I thought about switching brands but I think im going to go with another M1 sportec on the back for now and when this one is spent then I will put a matching set on. I was really happy with the handling of the M1 but I didnt get the best mileage out of it, only about 3k. I cant say I was the easyest on it but maybe I can get a little more life out of this one.

I still get a kick out of the double takes I get every time I ride.

Somehow people don't expect a fully faired sport bike (a white one
at that!) to be associated with the sound coming out of my Jardine.

The local chiropractors must LOVE me ;)

Hi my name is Scott and I am an addict. I am powerless over my throttle hand while riding my Buell and the torque is unmanagable. Tq Freak you may need TA to help you quit this throttle problem I know I did. Unfortunately relapse is a fact of life for us, it just isn't "normal" for those with a throttle habit to twist gently. The latest published stats show less than 10% of us stay off the throttle for any length of time. I myself relapse frequently and have been unable to get past the 3500 mile chip before I'm showing cord yet again. My wife is ready to leave me due to the amount of rear tires I go through in a season. my friends are shocked to hear of my abysmal tire life. My pychologist says it's all in my mind and that it is a matter of willpower. I try but I just can't stop whacking that poor throttle open on corner exits. I have resigned myself to being a tire bum. "Hey buddy can you spare a buck I need a Pilot Power before my next track day." is a common refrain among throttle abusers. Maybe I'm wrong and you can use the throttle responsibly but dude you own a Buell.

All this is true. One thing I have noticed that I think is ashame is if I stop at the BP near my house (on the east side of Orlando in a better than average community) I rarely am approached about my Buell.

Now, if I stop at the Citgo across the street (which is connected to a 7-11) I might as well allow for an extra 15 minutes to chat and answer questions.

Typically the gas is cheaper at the BP, but guess where I usually buy my gas?

Think you got problems? Try riding a Ulysses, not only is it different, IT'S REALLY different!

My buzz line is "it's a Buell, a bike of ages."

Blends both "New & Old Schools" to uniqueness.

I've seen that guy too!

To paraphrase spiderman "He always seems to be writing on peoples bikes.
Is he some kind of graffiti artist or something?"

Here he is with me and my bike:

Yes, Erik autographed it ;)

I wouldn't let Erik spoil my bike's frame with his waterproof signature!!
I like it flawless (when I find time to clean it)

I didn't have him sign the frame either. The sun fades that sometimes.
I had him sign where the sun don't shine...

wait a minute, that's NOT what I meant you perverts! I asked
him to sign a place on the bike where the sun wouldn't fade it,
on the underside of the rear seat cowl, which I promptly put
clear packing tape over to keep it from rubbing off: )

Buell_892 - Noooo, I am one of the few people that like the amber wheels. the only thing I dont like is how hard they are to clean but I guess everything has its price.

Toona- two words, You Stink. I really wish I could have been there and had my bike vandalised buy some crazy motorcycle building mad man like everyone else. I guess I will just have to hunt him down during speed week

What did he think of your paint?

Erik liked it, a lot.

Honest, I don't stink, well at least at the show, we rode thru 3 hours of rain to get there and I did take a shower that morning.

Speaking of speed week... do you have any extra floor space a lonesome traveler could keep warm come February?

Anybody ever ask you, "What's that noise?" when you park your bike, pull out the key and walk away. That usually ends up in a ten minute conversation that covers the spectrum of what is different about a Buell.
I'm just ill... when that guy autographed my Uly I was out of film, my diggy cam battery was dead, and my son had my cell phone....crap!
