I have run my Jardine for about 1,000 miles, it was just replaced by the stocker this last weekend. All I can say, is that I have never been so happy to hear wind noise. The Jardine was just soooo loud at speed, even with -33 dec earplugs, after a 4k drone down the highway, it would take 5 minutes to get my hearing back.

I guess I will have to get used to the "Kohler Command" sound of the stocker!

I got one word for ya, ipod. The only time my ears ring is when I have the music up to loud.

I have to take some photos and I will post it up. I will probably ask ~130+shipping.

Regards,

John

You know, Jardine makes a quiet core insert for the RT-1 and quiets it down to where you don't need to wear earplugs on the highway. I put one in mine and love it.

Hey Holling, how much does it hinder performance. I bought a Jardine for the bike I'm fixing and starting seeing complaints up on the board as soon as I got the damn thing.

Cereal,

I have 8k on my Jardine with no problems. {aluminum model}. The insert probably cuts a few hp on the top end but around town I don't feel a difference.
