There is a section in Storm Fronts for Oklahoma. There is a feller named DTX that lives in Tulsa, which is ma couple of hours from you. I am about 4-5 hours from you, but last time I was in Norman, I only saw straight roads.

Hey Travis...not sure if I am going to be able to talk to you if you are enrolled at OU!

Just kidding! (I graduated from Kansas State University). Just a little friendly rivalry.

I just moved to OK about 6 weeks ago, so I haven't explored your neck of the woods yet. I do know from experience that there are some great roads in NE Oklahoma and (of course) NW Arkansas. From what I hear, you my friend, are a FLATLANDER in that part of the state. Wish I could help...

Hit me up if you make it over here and we can go for a ride.

haha..you're just jealous!

I'd like to make a trip up to that track that's up there by stillwater. I forget the name... I know you're new to God's country, but do you know anyone that's been there

You are talking about Hallett. I haven't done a track day there yet, but am planning on it in the next month or so. They have a website, so do a search for that one. Maybe we can go together?

Hallett is a pretty nice facility, we made the trip down there a couple of times last
year and the year before for track days. Unfortunately it wasn't on our race calendar.

Diablomichael and My Dad lives down there too.

I have heard good stories about that place and bad stories about that place. I guess the track surface is getting pretty BAD and its organized kinda chaotic. But, supposedly a fun, technical track.

Can you just show up and run the track (providing there isn't a race or special practice that day)?

See www.cmraracing.com for info on track days and race days at Hallet. Often times there is a track school on the Friday prior to the race weekend. You don't need a full race teched bike to do the school either. Not sure about any motorcycle track days at Hallet other than the pre-race weekend CMRA schools.

Not likely you can simply show up and ride the track. I don't know any track like that other than possibly that giant one in Germany.

July 30th, there will be a couple of the OKC bike clubs riding out to Hallett for the CMRA sprint and Unlimited Super Motard races. Also watch for the Dallas area Buellers, when they ride out to Skyline drive in OK/ARK. Maybe a few OK Buellers can hook up}
