First, I read here about Mitchel's rather Buellesque bike. Then I saw this article written by a guy who was at Willow Springs when Discovery Channel showed up to film part of a "Biker Build Off" featuring Jesse Rooke and Roland Sands. The bikes were raced! Check out the machine Sands built--looks somewhat familiar, eh?

Sweet, that Sands kid can build some very nice road racer inspired customs. On the other hand that Rooke guy is kind of a d*ck in person, but I respect his very unique lines. Who would have thought to build a custom around a KTM 950 Adventure motor, thats KOOL! Can't wait to watch that one on the Discovery Channel.
