Lets face it I am going to change my oil more than is required.......... So how do I need to document it, so that HD extended warranty will recongize it.

Does HD/buell frown on different brands of oils and oil filters? Will using amsoil or mobile 1 violate it?

So how do I do it without violating the terms of the HD warranty?

You don't have to use their brand of oil BUT it must be the correct weight, meaning 20W-50. Just keep receipts for every service purchase.

In addition to receipts, I have always been told to keep a handwritten log and any part of the oil filter box that has the brand and oil filter model number. This has worked well for my car that is under an extended warranty and has had a few issues.
