I'm sure this question has been asked and answered no less than 1000 times, but I'm a new Buell XB9S owner and love the bike. I'm looking to change the tires and am curious what the largest size rear tire I can put on the bike using the stock rear wheel.
THANKS !!!

If you put anything but the recommended tire size on it, you'll likely adversely affect the handling.

I was told by the "guy at the shop" where I had my last tires mounted that they only mount one size over spec without changing the rim size. I would not change the size of the tire as I like the way it handles with the spec size tire. Seems to me that you would want to have the spec tire if you want the spec handling. But, if it is just looks you are going for, then maybe the one up size might be OK.

there are people running 190 rear tires here on the board. I don't recommend it.
