intercooled - liquid - air (ram air??!) to airbox? cld it work? is it viable? wirth the weight gains to horsepower increase, assuming other radical mods have occured in btm end & heads?!

It works well with a boost vehicle but i don't think it would do anything for a N/A veh.

There's no need to put an intercooler on a strictly N/A application. Besides the intake charge isn't hot enough to justify it. Even then if you put an inter cooler on, how are you going to make up for the pressure drop from it? In the end it would probab;y make the motor work harder.
And that also leaves out the fact of where you put it?

I am not sure about Buell's as I am just starting out with them but on the Rice Rockets they all use some form of Air-Tunneling Boost. It does help the air to be cooler coming into the intake tract. Also adds approx. 1-3 HP depending on the shape of the air boost tunnel and whether it has a venturi style area built in as this speeds up the air charge.
