There's no easy answer to that question. Some manufacturers make different profile 190's. You would best be speaking to the tech departments of the manufacturers you've short listed possibly, then making a choice.

The Pirelli Scorpion Sync on the rear of my Uly seems "rounder" than the stock Dunlop D616 I took off. I actually made sure it was indeed a 180 after the dealer put it on. I thought for sure they had put on a 170. I don't know if they make a 190, but if they do and if I stick with the Pirelli's, I think I will try a 190 next time.

An article I read on the new Metzeler M3 said they worked really hard on shaping the profile of the 190 so it would still handle like a 180, so you might want to try one of those.

On the other hand, 190 is intended for a wider wheel so any 190 you mount on your stock XB rim will be "pinched" slightly.

Ditto what Spike said. Keep in mind though that due to the fact that we run belted tires... The pinching doesn't make them sharper. It makes the flatter. You need a 6" rim AND a 190 if you want to go that route.

That said... Slaughter races and runs a 190. I don't know if he has a 6" rim or not.

A 190 fits on 5.5" wheel a lot better than a 180 fits on a 5" wheel.
