Hey folks, got a few questions for you XB folks, thinking about getting rid of the 98 S3 thunderbolt that i now own, and trading in on a new XB,here's my questions, thinking about the XB long, but love the firebolt's fairing, here's what i'm wondering would it be possible to put the fairing, gauges, headlights, and all the parts from a firebolt on the frontend of the XB long, would it also be possible to use the low seat? or would i have to use the tail off a low seat model? that would be fine to and if I can use the fairing are all the plug in's for the wiring harness the same? here's what i'm after I want to build a new S3 so to speak, An XB long chassis, firebolt fairing, dash, lights, clip on's, double bubble windscreen, XB low seat and tail, if i hunt down all the parts is this possible? will make a good winter project for next year! plus it should look awesome! i hear the long & the Uly use the same frame and that it's longer and has more gas capacity, is the swingarm longer also ? so what model would be best to start with? whats the best way to go about this? picture a long firebolt with a low seat and tail, all blacked out!!! oh man! Any help would be great, I know you guy's will have the answers, thanks guy's!

Fairing: yes
Low seat: no
serious mods need to swap regular s seat onto ss
gages the same for r&s models. ignition switch mounts are different. r top triple clamp required, or custom mount.

I'd wait a bit. I expect a new firebolt with the new frame soon.
