I know it looks kinda ugly in black, but I think a "clear" one with the bottom painted to match the bikes would look a lot better. This has been out for a couple of weeks now, Has any badwebber bought one yet? http://www.ceebaileys.com/buell/lightningxb9_xb12.html |

Fugly may be an understatement, Mr. Cuell. To each his own, though, I guess. |

I think it might look better in the light grey color. That may make it look more like a windscreen, and less like an exaggerated body part. It might be a nice addition for the sport-touring inclined among us. |

lunchbox....that's kinda what I meant when I posted. If it is bought in "clear" and the "flyscreen" is painted to match the bike or even just black I think it would not look bad at all since the "clear" part would kinda disappear. Waiting for someone else to be the guinee pig though. superbee |

That windscreen screams "functional". I think I would have to add a full set of hard pack saddlebags a locking trunk and a console for a cd/mp3 player. Perhaps go way over the top and some highway pegs and "forward set" controls and then........... Hmmmm, Maybe I should have just bought a Gold Wing. |

SISSY BAR!!!! If you get a clear one, then take the time to make the bottom look like the original flyscreen (color & logo), it might look good. Either way, it sure is different. |

OK, eventhough my bike is for sale ( see classifieds about half way down ) I still use and SO, I have gone ahead and ordered the Clear version of the Ceebaileys windshield. I will post some pics when I install it. I think ( fingers crossed ) that it will look a lot better than the tinted one on their website. Will keep ya posted when it comes in. Superbee |

mroom...And the draw back of not selling it would be? I want a Uly, but I am happy with the CityX.. Peter hmmm....isn't that another name for Di...well never mind, figures someone with your name would own a "SISSY" bar.... JUST KIDDING.....LOL I want a little more wind protection and I do not believe the Clear windshield will look that bad. IF it does, it'll be a $100 lesson that I took and maybe I can prevent someone else from spending the money, OR, maybe it'll work and some of you'all will fork over some money. WHo knows. Let's wait and see. Superbee |

I needed a windshield for riding the cold weather here in PA. I put this windshield on my XB9S. It removes quickly and easily and keeps the cold off me nicely. I don't have a picture of it mounted but I don't think it looks bad, but really don't care, it works.

Sorry, don't have digital camera. I mounted it just a little above the headlights in front of the little black plastic front piece, it is not too high, protects my chest but I'm looking well over it. Most people don't even notice it. The darkened lower section of the shield blends right into the black plastic shield. Air flows underneath it on the plastic shield and seems to eliminate any buffeting. I find no ill effects on the bikes handling, in fact, it's probably much more aerodynamic, my 235lbs. doesn't flow air very well. |

I just rode my Ulysses from PA to FL for Bike Week (both Buells DNF'd the 200 miler), then to Key West, then back...over 3000 miles in all. IT NEEDS A BIGGER WINDSCREEN!!!! Wind, noise, and cold were unacceptable. (Next trip is Panama.) Please post as soon as possible, superbee!!! Has anyone tried mounting the BMW GS1150/1200 windscreen? |
