Alright buellers, I finally got the promotion at work that will allow me to buy a sportbike. Instead of financing, I am just going to wait for about 5 months until I have the money to buy it outright. I race MX for a honda dealer here in FL, and one of the salesman at the shop ALMOST had me talked into a triumph speed triple the other day, but i definatly have my heart set on a new buell. Anyone on this board ever dealt with HD of FT myers or Rossiters HD in Sarasota? Just wondering if their service dept was up to par. Happy Buelling! |

I've BEEN to Rossiters, a couple of years ago and they looked nice, a few Buells, not a lot of Buell shirts, but the people GENERALLY were nice. Look up Buellistic here on the site, he could probably give a pretty good answer as to where to go. |

HD of Ft Myers has a fine service department. I've only had my Buells (XB9 & S3T) in a couple of times but the work was done on time and done right. Plus, the guys there are A-1. One of the service techs was previously a test rider for HD out west. My experience has been outstanding. Steve-O |

Can't help with the dealerships. Have you ridden an XB Buell yet? When I first got mine, I kept thinking it was just like a big dirt bike. Lots of fun, they are. Good luck, and congrats on the promotion. Bill |

OK, IF ANYONE CAN TALK ME OUT OF THIS PLEASE DO! A co-worker just found out his wife is expecting, and wants to sell me his 04 R1 FOR 3K!!!!!!!!! it only has 2500 miles on it. I want a buell soooooo bad, but maybe i will ride this for a while, then sell it and possibly make a few bucks on it when its time to sell. I have been known to stand in line at mcdonalds for 5 min deciding between a mcgriddle and a mcmuffin, how am i supposed to decide between a great bike and a great deal? |

The thrill of a great deal can quickly fade, while the enjoyment of a cherrished ride will last and last. Also... if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Be careful. |

Wish I could help you by buying the R1..... (reaches into pocket and pulls out a crumpled up $5 bill) If the R1 really is in excellent cond., $3K is about half what it's worth. Personally, I would scoop up the deal, turn right around and sell it, and not even put the title in my name(but put the extra $3K in my pocket). p.s. The laws concerning vehicle titling may vary. Check your local laws......yada, yada. |
