I took out my 9sx sunday and the engine is making a whine. It does it in all gears and when stopped so I dont think it is the tranny. Alt. maybe? or something in the primary? I thought i would ask you guys.

If its not the fuel pump its probably your primary chain too tight.

my fuel pump whines but it is a different whine than when I flick the switch.
It's alot quiter but I'm pretty sure thats what it is.

Could be the fan on the rear cylinder couldnt it. I mean, i dont know about on the bike, but i build computers and I can tell you that when the bearing in the fans are going out they start to whine pretty bad.. just a guess
