I have a black one.

Best money I have spent on the bike so far. Feel like that temporpedic stuff. I would highly recommend it.

I tried it. Didn't like it. It was very hard. But I have the CityX seat on my 9S currently and love the extra padding and height.

Got the City X. Only problem I have with the seat is it doesn't breath so on long rides it can get uncomfortable. So, I guess what I'm really asking is what seats would you recommend for the XBS model Buells?

Hi,

I have one on my 12s, don't leave home without it. It's a vast improvement over the stocker on the 12s.

I have the Streetfighter seat - LOVE it! Have logged several 300 mile rides with it - highway and sport riding - and it's great.

Well, how about aftermarket seats. I've read lot's about Corbins not fiting properly. How about a Sargent seat or Mustang seat?

Cataract.....I have never heard of those seats. The only comparison I can give you is the stock seats, Corbin and Streetfighter. The Select is shaped like the Streetfighter but is slightly softer because of newer type foam (IMO). I like it better than the CityX seat because of the shape. The CityX seat is sloped downward and smashes the Twig and Berries against the airbox. Corbin is softer because it is thicker. Not a big fan of the shape....makes the rear end look bulky.

Black_sunshine.....Can you give me your opinion between the Streetfighter and the Select seat. I currently have the Streetfighter. It's been on my bike for over a year and I really like it. The stock seat is too hard. However, I'm always on the hunt for a better seat. I've considered the Corbin, but always stayed away. Not really sure about the look or the fit, either. The Select looks like an option. I don't have a Buell dealer around, so I need honest opinions before I order one from Daves.
Thanks,
-Brad

Go ahead an order it. You WILL like it.
I think the Select is the best seat ever made for the S bikes.
Better than stock
Better than the Streetfighter
Better than a Corbin

And only 179.95 thru me
I'm not going to be at work until late tomorrow afternoon. I have to detour and pick up a bike on my way back.

Brad....The shape of the Streetfighter and Select are very similar except for the V shape. The foam density of the Select is like those temporpedic beds and a hellofalot softer. Glitch has the streetfighter so I have riden on both. The select seat has newer better foam.

It was a mistake I did not know that it was a street fighter. When I bought the bike from John he plainly stated that it was a Select seat. He was most likely told that by the Harley dealer. It is no problem ,I will refund the money and you can send the seat back. I am sorry about the misunderstanding.

That't really good to hear Mountainrider as there was about 6 of us with Duff today when he opened the box....I'm glad to hear it was just a mistake and not anything funny.. I have bought and sold a lot of stuff through the BWB and never worried...and apparently still have nothing to worry about....

Thanks for being a stand up guy..
