dana-

i sent him a pm telling him to become a sponsor (five minutes ago)...i am amazed at how fast you to point this stuff out to people. i am sure he didnt know.

i would like to give applause to a dealer employee that is actually a buell rider (has three), and is in the process of starting a new brag chapter. he did back-flips for my brother last week and got his tires changed in 24 hours (on a sunday no less), while 2 other local dealers were saying 2 and 3 weeks. we could more dealerships like this. to actually go into a service department and have the guy mention that they have a black ulysses and a new SS in stock is amazing.

i'm not ripping you dana...i just think he is a new guy trying to help the BUELL cause. i think we should all be a little more helpful.

Jim,
I agree with you. Dana is always like this and gives a bad vibe, to me anyway. I dont think he realizes it that is just the type of person he is, although some of us might not like it. John

Yeah... what Dana said.

Count me in the group if you'd like as well.

At least post in the classified section. I really don't mean to be a jerk (sometimes...) but he DID click on a button stating that he agrees to abide by the rules of the forum. As far as I can tell, he broke the rules within his first couple posts.

That just smells of "Used car salesman" to me but most likely it's more like he just doesn't quite have the whole "netiquette" thing down yet.

It's bad form to walk into someones house and light up before looking for ash trays. Especially if there's a no smoking sign on the front door. In any case, I'm sure that one post is enough to sell his bikes...

Understood John... We have a classified section.

We also have sponsors. The value of sponsorship can not be eroded by allowing "just anybody" to sell "just anything" on the site. If we do, our sponsors will bail and we won't HAVE a best Buell Enthusiast site on the web anymore (or at least we won't have one worth going to).

Yeah he broke the rules Burn Him! Burn Him! Personally, I appreciate John's post. Sure it could have gone somewhere else...sure John could have just posted as "John off the street Buell guy".

I do feel compelled to buy from our sponsors. When it comes down to the almighty $, motorcycle dealerships are a business and not a freakin' charity. If dealership X is about the same price as a BadWeb sponsor...I'll make a decision towards a sponsor. If a dealership gets stupid with prices...well...at least offer our sponsors a chance to equal it or come close.
