Hey everyone, how can you tell if your bike is CA approved? Mine is an 2003 XB9S. Feedback?

You would have a charcoal canister on the left side of your bike by the oil cooler. Kind of hard to miss it on the S.

Is it positioned just behind the engine block and right below the pipe?

It would be on the air scoop side. mounted to the engine mount braket (tube looking thing) that runs along the side of the engine.

Why would you want it installed? CA DMV doesn't check.

I don't know about the quality, but that undercuts Redwood City Halrey/Buell by $200. Certainly a good price

It was the cheapest I found all the others around here(within 100ish miles) were between 650-900.
