city x fan, when giving city x a good blast the fan is on as i come to slow down, is this a normal thing with them- it only happens over 5000revs for a 10 min ride, as uk weather is a lot cooler than the states. on idle the fan will cut out after a few minutes. when back on road you can suddenly hear it come back on again.if you dont go over 4000revs it doesnt come on at all until you switch off. thanks

Absolutely normal. Will also run for a bit after you shut down.
It's pulling heat off the rear cylinder because it's shrouded by the bodywork.
Ride and let that be one thing not worried about.

Very normal. Things to help it come on less. Switch to synthetic oil and right side air scoop from Trojan. I did this to my 9SX and it helps keep the fan off more, which in the Florida heat it came on a good amount.
