We make them for your forks and swing arm. Check out Dark Horse Moto products at darkhorsemoto.com Look in the gallery... If you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Keith |

I don't recommend the LSL's. I believe that due to the way they are mounted they will either just break right off or they will bend. If they bend they may end up doing damage to the frame and/or the primary cover on one side and just the frame on the other. If they break... well... I believe the LSL's would work ok if you had full body work due to the fact that they only stick out half way through the bodywork. The frame pucks offer VERY good protection. I've watched them work from 8' away. I also recommend that you get the Darkhorse moto sliders for the axles. |

I just saw American Sport Bike has some CF covers for the pucks, you all think that that would look stupid on CF frame covers?? |

Powers BikeWorx makes a full stunter cage for it for like ~$300 or so. Their website seems to be down at the moment, plus I would get in trouble for posting a link to them anyway. Racing 905 makes stunt cages, but nothing for Buell at the moment. I bet if you contact Aaron he could get something made up for you. I have a buddy with some of their stuff and it is top notch. |

I use the old style small hard frame pucks and the Sato black derlin frame sliders in conjunction w/metal axel sliders front and rear.I also use Sato rear sets with rigid footpegs.I've low sided twice at the track(lost the front) well over a 100mph and this combo has kept the damage to a minimum. In both instances the frame.forks, swingarm, header and cases were fine.Yes,the Sato frame sliders bent back, but they did agreat job keeping the asphalt off of the bodywork. |

So does any of our engineering buddies have any better ideas for good frame protection out there. I trust the Dark Horse products probably do exactly what they're supposed to do, but like everyone else am really skeptical of the choices we have for frame protection. I know that the Buell frame pucks are touted as being very effective but still feel a little worried about something that is mounted right on the frame no bolts, just adhesive. I need a better visualization of the product, how far do they protrude out from the frame, what are they made of, how hard or soft are they... and oh yeah anyone have any free ones that I may try on for size before I make my final decision. AH, it was worth a shot... |

The stick out about 1-1.5 inches probably. They are hard but I think they will collapse under enough pressure. The adhesive is VERY strong. They work and they can be painted to match the frame. |

The sliders offered here (Darkhorse) work very well. I, unfortunatly, know that for a fact. |
