I just got an email from my dealer saying the Ulysses shipped to him on the 21st and he should have it early this week. |

That would be cool if they come out that soon. They haven't sent or told me anything letting me know when I'll get my first one. I'll be checking to find out on Monday. |

My dealer is telling me December...if that's the case, Buell has a problem. Pavlov, in his Theory of Classical Conditioning, taught us that there is that the pellet must follow, as closely as possible, the rat smacking the lever or the behaviour (that's for Paul and Rocket) is rapidly extinguished and more difficult to elicit on future attempts. I WANT MY PELLET! |

Wasn't B.F. Skinner the operant conditioning / rat guy and Pavlov the conditioned reflex / salivating dog guy? Oh, and thank you for the rare opportunity to demonstrate that 12 years of a undergraduate liberal arts education was not the waste of money my parents had suspected. On another thread, it was reported that Hal's just received a shipment of '06 Buells. Don't shoot me if the other guys report is wrong! |

Where's Hals? Operant conditioning, sometimes called instrumental conditioning or instrumental learning, was first extensively studied by Edward L. Thorndike. B.F. Skinner (1904-1990) extended the theories proposed by Thorndike about 40 years after Thorndike published his works. My Wikipedia dollars well spent, Eor. |

Court, You're too little. I'd pay to see a pic of you as Ulysses pilot and Vickie as passenger with her petite feet dangling free. Throw in a wheelie and I'll pay double. It has been soo long since I've Jones'd for a new motorcycle like I am Jonesing for the Ulysses. It ain't pretty. I've NEVER paid list for any new vehicle. That may change. (Don't tell Dave)
Dave, Clown says he'll do 9% off. And he is a southerner too.
I am in SOOOO much trouble. (Message edited by blake on July 24, 2005) |

For a minute I thought I had run across someone who had 13 years of undergraduate education or had even advanced to the morass of psychology graduate school. |

I just HOPE my dealer doesn't get them for a while. Mainly because it's gonna take me a few months to sell a couple of things, completely rearrange my finances, do a couple of major "honey do's" I promised before I made any major expenditures, etc. I know exactly how Blake feels right now. |
