Any of you wearing out ur grips? I am on my 3rd set of traction grips, first 2 the end of the throttle wore off and not this set is doing the same and it is also now sliding off the plastic sleeve. i am lookin for something with the same comfort but will last longer.

My grips wear out fairly quick, but for the price who cares....I just keep an extra set on hand..

Mine don't necessarily wear out but I had to replace the left one (did both anyways) as it started twisting. I determined it might be because I opened up the end of the grip to accept a bar end tip on it. Water and soap and whatnot was likely getting in there and breaking down the glue.

I replaced them and didn't open up the end this time...also put a foam "donut" from my BMX days and put it between the grip and electronics next to the left one and that should seal it up good. Haven't had a problem in over a year now.

I've only really worn out one set, but I have had them start sliding around. For me it seems to be more of a problem on the throttle side. I usually just pull them off, clean the bar, and glue them back on. I might try safety wire if the current set starts sliding.

I used the grip glue that my HD shop uses. Sucker does not move one bit.

Mine wear like that too... The top of the outer portion of the throttle side. IT's just developed a hole so they're pretty much ready for replacement.
