Had an issue with my xb9r, exhaust would get very hot , turn cherry red so hot it was melting the black plastic frame shield above the exhaust, would idle high and not come down when coming to a stop. After about a day of riding after O2 change it runs much better even in 90 degree weather. It may still be running a little lean though, i had burn welts on my left thigh when i got home. I had khaki pants on, stuck in rush hour. The full fairing probably is adding to the extra heat. How does your bike run in very hot weather stuck in full on rush hour traffic? | ||

Bike seems to run ok, but daggum did my seat get hot this morning. Was hotter than normal, and I got caught at every friggin' light I think. That could be a downer as the season warms up. | ||

pony, let me know how the back of your thighs feel after sitting still in rush hour for about 8 minutes without moving with outside temps 90 plus degrees. I actually had very red patches on my skin where i felt the heat, felt like my pant was on fire. I am a Volunteer firefighter so i know what burning hot feels like on my skin, it felt like the steam burns we get. Beotch hurt bad. (Message edited by firewhirl on June 08, 2005) | ||

did you guys get your air fuel value reset after o2 sensor change ???? if not any dealership can do it in about 1 min izzinya  |
