I see you guys talk about it, I have searched for it, but can not find out how to reset the TPS. Let me know.

Either of these two ways:

1. Dealer uses a "Digital Technician" tool.
2. Buy the retail version for a PC or Palm and do it yourself. I believe Daves can hook you up with option 2

Option 2 is what I do. Once I figured out how to navigate the software, it works quite well.

Ok, confused, I was told that you could not link up with a pc, more in depth please
Do we have a data link of somesort on our bike that will hook to a com port?

With the Techno Research software and cable you can hook up your bike and do your own TPS resets.

technoresearch in Michigan makes a device to connect your bikes com port to either a PC or palm computer. with this device you can usually reset the TPS. it can be finicky. mine is currently boxed up for return shipment to technoresearch, because it is not functioning.

I also need more info on that software. I didn't found info on the net about Techno Research software. Is it like OBD-II tool used to tune car? Is it OBD-II compatible?
