Get a Special OPS from Odie, Loud, no loss of low end Torque (There is a Valve on the Pipe)
Very affordable

You can get the Special OPS pipe through Stone Mountain HD/Buell. Try looking in the sponsor section. You'll find some more info there as well.

I second the D&D. Earplug loud, not ticket loud. 15 minutes if you've been drinking and don't take the idler pulley off.

Force exhaust is ticket loud.

I'll second (or third) for the D&D. The D&D on my 'Bolt sounds great, is bullet proof and has a really nice sound to it. The D&D (full exhaust) on my Cyclone sound great (loud as all hell), is bullet proof and sounds really good as well. I got the D&D from Dave based on my experience with tubers... Many of the other pipes my friends had didn't have the same heavy construction of the D&D, nor the sound and power. Granted, some of the other manufacturers for the tuber pipes aren't making pipes for the XBs...

On Tom's note,
Regardless of the exhaust, wear earplugs. Wind noise at highway speeds can cause hearing loss, both temporary and permanent, in time. What I do over a weekend, whether it be riding the Buell, shooting guns or mowing a lawn, all have an impact on the hearing tests I have once a month on Mondays.

Anyone have a sound bite of the different mufflers and how they sound? I like to hear before I buy.

Holy Shyte! That's loud!
I'm kinda liking having a quiet bike. I've spent the last 6 years on a loud Sportster. Not quite as loud as that D&D but close. This "stealth Buell" is kind of a nifty novelty right now.
I'll probably change my mind & want loud again in a year or so but till then I'm gonna enjoy the sereneness.
Currently the only thing about an after market pipe that entices me is the quicker turn in rate you get from a lighter pipe.
