2005 XB12R. The bike hasn't turned a wheel and the paint is flaking from the frame. I spoke with the local paint shop that does HD warranty work. He claims to have had "several" with the problem. How prevalent is this?

That has got to be an exception.

I did some stuff to my bike and the paint on the frame is really tough stuff and sticks to the metal big time...it is very tough to remove.

havent seen one with that problem in our shop...powder coating is pretty tough...warranty issue you should bring to dealer's attention
